Santa Elena I

Santa Elena I is located at the Cantón "Palo de Campana", Santa Ana on the Santa Ana Volcano, one of the most well known high quality coffee regions of El Salvador. A wonderful view of the Coatepeque Lake can be also appreciated.

The altitude of this farm goes from 4,000 to 5,700 feet above sea level (1,200 to 1,740 meters). Temperature between different seasons goes from 7° C to 25° C (44° F to 77° F).

Boubon variety is mainly grown on its soils; some spots have been also grown with Kenya varieties for experimental purposes and lower altitudes are grown with Catuai. Coffee trees oscillate between 4 and 20 years old.

Shade trees are mainly Ingas. Coffee is totally hand-picked between February and March depending on region's rainfall.

The highest point of this farm is really close to Santa Ana's Volcano crater and it is preserved as a natural forest.

Finca Esquipulas

Esquipulas farm is located at Canton "El Cerro", Department of Santa Ana on the area known as "El Potosi" which is a bourbon coffee area developed back in the late part of the past century.

Topography is mainly heavy slope of volcanic soil with some 3,800 feet above sea level. Temperatures oscillates between a range of 25° C and 15° C (77° F and 59° F) depending of seasonal changes. Bourbon coffee is shade grown at Esquipulas farm using different kinds of Ingas and other lumber trees such as cedar and mahogany. Natural pollination made by bees helps fully developed cherries slowly matured under this wonderful canopy of shade.
