These boutique beans originate in the beautiful mountains of Naranjo’s coffee growing region in the West Valley of Costa Rica. We carefully selected fully ripened cherries from this region’s peak harvest in February. Every basket harvested and delivered was carefully checked guaranteeing continuation of our quality process. The teamwork in our boutique mill involves a clear concept of the importance of excellence. We eagerly awaited the arrival of these special cherries at Lomas Al Rio in order to pamper them during the remaining processes: from de-pulping to storage. Every step was carefully monitored in a way that we cup-tested, batch by batch, assuring that each cup offered exotic and full flavors. As a contribution to the community where our mill is located, we are donating 10% of the total sale of this lot to local day care centers.
